Did you happen to record Monty Python’s Flying Circus
when it was shown on PBS back in the 1970s?
Do you still have the tapes?
Is there a TIME LIFE logo at the end?
If so, please write to me. Thank you!

THE WORKS OF TINTO BRASS

Barbarella Goes Down

(1969)

Having produced a surprise hit in 1968 with Barbarella, Dino De Laurentiis sought to capitalize on its success with this sequel. The only reference I have ever found to it is from Variety (7 May 1969, p. 65):

TINTO BRASS — Author likes to blast social inhibitions and idols. Columbia released his “Black on White” early this year with fair returns for a way-out pic. Brass recently terminated “The Shriek.” Both pix filmed in London for Dino De Laurentiis who now allows Brass to direct “Barbarella Goes Down.”
