Did you happen to record Monty Python’s Flying Circus
when it was shown on PBS back in the 1970s?
Do you still have the tapes?
Is there a TIME LIFE logo at the end?
If so, please write to me. Thank you!

THE WORKS OF TINTO BRASS

La felicità

(1981)

Again, I’m clueless. This is listed in IMDb as a TV miniseries that began broadcasting on 5 April 1981. Featured performers were Laura Lenzi, Rodolfo Bigotti, Patric Rossi Gastaldi, Tinto Brass, Macha Méril, Mariano Rigillo, Franco Citti, Paola Tedesco, and Pier Francesco Aiello. The producer was Raffaello Monteverdi (for RAI and Solaris Productions Srl), the writers were Arnaldo Bagnasco and Enzo Ungari, and the director was Vittorio De Sisti (who had worked on the sound in Col cuore in gola). One episode featured Livio Galassi as “A Friend.” RAI’s web page about “Sceneggiati e Fiction 1980–1982” tells us that this was four episodes, running from 5 April through 14 April 1981, and broadcast on RAI 1. Other than that, this is a mystery. If you happened to record it, please let me know. Thanks!
